Hi, The kids call me Ms. Katie. I am the director of Tall Trees and I spend my days caring for the kids. I have a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time outdoors. My husband, Patrick, is a structural engineer in Seattle.  We have two teenagers, Keegan and Kaylee. I love planning fun learning activities for my child care!

Hola, my name is Susanne. I was born in Venezuela and have a Chemical Engineering degree from there. I moved here in 2006 with my husband and two kids. I started as a Spanish preschool teacher in 2017 and I have worked at Tall Trees since 2022. 

From personal experience, I know that if you talk to pre-school aged children in a second language it will be really beneficial because they retain information much better and remember it for good.

Hi, The kids call me Ruby. I am an assistant teacher at Tall Trees and I live next door to the child care. I love watching the kids. I raised and home schooled my own two children, I am a personal trainer and I have taught swim lessons for many years. I have a lot of hobbies, as I enjoy hiking, gardening, clean eating, bee keeping, cow farming and adopting stray cats.

Hi, The kids call me Ms. Jeanie. I have worked as a substitute teacher at Tall Trees child care since 2019. I have also taught as the lead preschool teacher at Newport Covenant Church, and I currently work as a paraeducator for the school district. I enjoy singing, cooking, crafts, and socializing.
